We can receive the following building materials (amongst others) at our Household Recycling Centres here in Wiltshire. Here's how we re-process these items and how they are re-used in other areas of construction and landscaping.

Timber is chipped at Lower Compton nr Calne and then it is taken to a company called Boomeco -Â the wood chip is then used as a biomass fuel for energy and heat.

This is screened and cleaned and then is used as aggregate in site infrastructure.

Soil is re-used for landfilll restoration and can be re-sold for landscaping projects.

|
Scrap metal is re-processed by EJ Shanley & Sons and also by JW Ransome & Sons.
